The band achieved commercial success with their debut album “My Generation” in 1965, which featured Daltrey’s signature vocal style and stage presence.

As The Who’s frontman, Daltrey became known for his powerful voice, energetic performances, and iconic stage presence, often swinging his microphone around and twirling it above his head. The band went on to release numerous hit albums, including “Tommy,” “Quadrophenia,” and “Who’s Next.”
