Luke Bryan is an American country music singer and songwriter. He was born on July 17, 1976 in Leesburg, Georgia, United States.

His full name is Thomas Luther Bryan, but he goes by his middle name, Luke.

Bryan attended Georgia Southern University, where he studied business administration. While in college, he started playing music and began performing in local bars and clubs. After graduating, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music.

Bryan signed with Capitol Records in 2007 and released his debut album, “I’ll Stay Me,” later that year. The album produced two top 10 hits on the country charts, “All My Friends Say” and “Country Man.” His second album, “Doin’ My Thing,” was released in 2009 and included the hit singles “Rain Is a Good Thing” and “Do I.”

In 2011, Bryan released his third album, “Tailgates & Tanlines,” which featured the chart-topping hits “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)” and “I Don’t Want This Night to End.” The album was a commercial and critical success and established Bryan as one of the biggest stars in country music.

Bryan has since released several more successful albums, including “Crash My Party” (2013), “Kill the Lights” (2015), and “What Makes You Country” (2017). He has had numerous hit singles, including “Drink a Beer,” “Strip It Down,” and “Knockin’ Boots.”
