Biography of Justin Moore:

Moore grew up in a musical family, with his mother being a church choir director and his uncle and grandfather both playing in a band.

Moore began performing in his early teens and eventually formed his own band. He played at local venues and honed his skills as a performer and songwriter. In 2007, he signed a record deal with Valory Music Group, a division of Big Machine Records.

Moore’s debut single, “Back That Thing Up,” was released in 2008 and reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. His self-titled debut album followed later that year and included the hit singles “Small Town USA” and “Backwoods.” The album was a commercial success, selling over one million copies and earning a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Moore continued to release successful albums throughout the 2010s, including “Outlaws Like Me” (2011), “Off the Beaten Path” (2013), and “Kinda Don’t Care” (2016). His hit singles during this time included “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” “Til My Last Day,” and “You Look Like I Need a Drink.”
