Josh Brolin grew up in a show business family, and his stepmother is the legendary singer and actress Barbra Streisand.

Brolin began his acting career in the mid-1980s, appearing in television shows such as “The Young Riders” and “Private Eye.” He made his film debut in “The Goonies” in 1985 and continued to appear in small roles in films like “Thrashin'” and “The Road Killers.” In the 1990s, Brolin began to establish himself as a character actor, with notable roles in films such as “Flirting with Disaster,” “Mimic,” and “The Mod Squad.”
