Jared Leto began his career in the early 1990s as a musician, playing in the band “Thirty Seconds to Mars” which he formed with his brother Shannon Leto. In 1994, Leto made his acting debut in the TV series “Camp Wilder”. He went on to appear in several TV shows and films, including “My So-Called Life” and “Prefontaine”.

In 1998, Leto starred in the film “Urban Legend” and gained critical acclaim for his performance in the film “Requiem for a Dream” (2000).
