Daniel Cudmore is best known for his portrayal of the mutant superhero Colossus in the X-Men film series.
Cudmore grew up in Squamish and attended Gannon University in Pennsylvania, where he played football. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a stunt performer, appearing in films such as “X2: X-Men United” and “The Chronicles of Riddick.”
Cudmore made his acting debut in the film “X-Men: The Last Stand” in 2006, where he played the character of Colossus. He reprised the role in the 2014 film “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and again in the 2016 film “Deadpool.” He also appeared in the films “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” playing the role of Felix.
In addition to his film work, Cudmore has also appeared in several television shows, including “Smallville,” “Supernatural,” and “The Flash.” He has also done voice work for video games, including “Mass Effect 3” and “Halo 4.”
Outside of acting, Cudmore is also an accomplished athlete. He has played professional football in the Canadian Football League and has competed in several triathlons.
Cudmore is married to Stephanie Cudmore and they have two children together.
